Choosing to Survive

There are times when one may be left to survive the repercussions of the behaviors of another.   Behaviors which one in no way anticipated. . . nor encouraged.   Robbed of one's past, . . . present . . . and  future, the soul forfeits the dreams, . . .the aspirations . . . and the ambitions that had previously sustained it's existence.   Choosing to survive demands one learn to bear an insufferable grief, . . .bringing a stoicism . . . enabling one to endure.
